Compliance Testing and Review

Preferred Alliance, Inc. can review your company policy or help
you determine what is the best policy necessary for your company.
We can prepare your records for any upcoming DOT Audit and/or
State Inspection. Here are some of the standard compliance
reports and services that we provide for our customers:

DOT Managed Information System (MIS) Reporting

Preferred Alliance will prepare the client’s MIS report annually upon
request. However, there are data elements, which are exclusively
the responsibility of the employer. A couple of examples are items
such as the number of covered employees not hired who received
a pre-employment drug test. Other regulated tests done outside of
our system. If needed, Preferred Alliance will gladly add this other
information when supplied by the employer.


Statistical Recaps

Preferred Alliance will work with the Designated Employer
Representative (DER) to obtain specifications for reports required
by management in order to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness
and completeness of the program. Laboratory Semi-Annual Reports
are sent to the DER for record-keeping purposes from Preferred
Alliance.

SAMHSA Certified Laboratories and Medical Review Officers (MRO)

Preferred Alliance has contracts with several federally certified
laboratories, including LABONE, Inc., located in Lenexa, Kansas.
LABONE will be the designated laboratory where all the employer
specimens will be sent for forensic testing.

LABONE will conduct non-DOT drug testing if required by the Employer.

Preferred Alliance also contracts with ChoicePoint Health and Safety
Services, Inc. as its preferred provider of MRO services,
Stuart B. Hoffman M.D, Chief MRO Administrator.ChoicePoint offers:

• State of the art electronic transmission options including a
  service which allows access to information electronically or
  via the web, 24-hours a day
• Links to approved SAMHSA certified laboratories across the
  country
• Expert Testimony
• Expeditious turn around times for drug test results through
  the use of a double blind entry system that alerts MRO staff if
  a drug test result is not back within 24 hours.
